At Qubit Engineering Inc., we are committed to transforming the energy sector through innovation and collaboration. At the heart of this mission is our CEO and Co-founder, Dr. Marouane Salhi, whose work is shaping the future of energy optimization.
Dr. Salhi leads Qubit Engineering with a focus on developing advanced optimization solutions for power grid management, in collaboration with Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) and the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). These efforts aim to enhance the efficiency and resilience of the power grid, a critical step toward a more reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure.
Beyond grid management, Qubit Engineering is also innovating in the wind energy sector. By leveraging advanced computational techniques, our team has created a proprietary optimization solution that helps improve wind farm operations—making renewable energy production smarter and more efficient.
Dr. Salhi’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in computational and theoretical physics from the University of Tennessee, along with deep expertise in high-performance computing and optimization. His journey includes a postdoctoral research fellowship with the Intelligence Community at ORNL, where he further honed his skills in scalable computing and algorithm development.
Currently, as a member of Cohort 7 of the DOE-funded Innovation Crossroads program at ORNL, Dr. Salhi is working alongside leaders from academia, national labs, and industry to advance the next generation of optimization technologies for clean energy applications.
We invite you to learn more about Dr. Salhi’s work and vision during an upcoming virtual roundtable discussion on March 25. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore how quantum optimization and cutting-edge research are powering the future of energy.
